First page or so prints regular, then wingdings font?

Have seen an issue lately with version 7 or adobe reader where when printing an multi page pdf the first page or first couple of pages will print fine, but then the rest of the pdf will come out all garbage possibly using the wingdings font. I'm just starting to look into this issue so I have yet to make sure each PC has all the updates and look for different versions, but let's assume they are fully patched. The only thing I've come up with so far is possible issue with not using a PS driver for the printer, but wouldn't that affect the first page as well?

We had the same exact problem. If your printer (most probably a HP) is using a PCL driver, then you need to install a PS driver. If your Driver, for instance, is listed as a HP Laserjet 1300 PCL, you need to install the HP LaserJet 1300 PS driver.

We had the same results on our Toshiba E-Studio450 Copier. After our vendor suggested switching to PS driver, no more problems.
