Hi everyone,
I have set up my Nokia 6230 phone to receive and send mails.
Server: IMAP 4, same account settings both for incoming and outgoing messages.
Receive works fine, no problem.
Sending: SMTP server requires authentication (activated in the phone).
When I first try to send an email, it shows an error:
MyEmailAddress@domain.com does not exist. It does not say anything about the address I put in the 'To' field.
If I try again (without disconnecting), it works fine and I can send as many messages as I want.
If I use the phone just as a GPRS modem for the notebook, everything works just fine. The behaviour appears only when using the phone directly.
Mail server is Qmail on a Slackware Linux.
Can anyone help me get rid of that error?
I would appreciate any ideas you may have.
Thank you in advance,
Daniel Vlas
