I am using MSProject 2010.

Someone sent me a file and it does not show the first (grayed) column that you would use to right click on and cut and past a complet task line.

How do I get this column back in MSProject 2010?

Thanks,
Ray

Hi Ray,

It sounds like the table has been modified. Click the View tab, Tables drop-down and try "Reset to default". If it is a standard table, that should restore the Task ID field and lock the column. If it is not a standard table, reset won't work. So, choose View, Tables, More Tables to show the Table Definition dialog. Add the ID field as the first field in the table (top row) and click the "Lock First column" check box.
