Firmware download from Catalyst1900

Hello,

Is it possible to download firmware from existing switch and then upload it to new one?

ps. I have a standart edition 8.03 and really want to have Vlan's support which is only in enterprise ed, but my friend have the enterprise edition, but he've lost CD

I do not believe you can download from the switch. I just took a look at mine and it appears to be one way.. you can only upload the firmware. I know the firmware is available on the Cisco web site.
