I created a Fireworks rollover menu and it looks nice, except that the menu doesn't show by the Trigger, but right on top of the page, which isn't what I want. How can I influence where the rollover menu appears?

Any tips how to create a nice "roll-over menu" (showing sub-menus) in Dreamweaver are appreciated.

If I understood your msg correctly: All you need to do is place your cursor wherever you want the rollover menu to be. Set up tables and layout the page however you want...you would tehn have to cut up the menu and layout the menu on the web page each rollover one by one. You can control the behaviors of the images using the "Behaviors" tool bar/menu, that way you can have multiple images rollover also do other functions on Events.

Also to create the kinda "sub menus" your talking about, you need to use Layers & JavaScript (you can also use other server side languages, which I think is better). However it can get complicating...DW does supply helpful info & tools to do it with JavaScript but I wouldn't be able to explain it completely for you. Layers are nice but they require advanced techniques & good Web Browsers to work.

HOPE THAT HELPED YOU!
