fireworks drop down menus in dreamweaver frames

please advise me on the following anyone!
Having created dropdown menus in fireworks and exported into new site using dreamweaver.
Have used Macromedia's tech page and manipulated the Java Script to make the menus appear in all of my page's that are contained in my (MAIN) area of my frameset. BUT when i scroll down in the main window area, and then click on my navigation bar the menu's dont appear because there postitioning co ordinates are set so that when you click on them they appear under the nav bar.
Now i want them to appear where ever i am on the page.
HOW DO I GET ROUND THIS????

You have to play with the coordinates of the menu pop-ups, its those ridiculous numbers that appear in the code... I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...
