When I install my firewire card and start my pc, pnp recognizes the card and supposedly installs it. When I look in "device manager" it shows the card but there is a yellow exclamation mark beside it. In properties it says: " This device can not start error code (10)" I have tried placing it in different pci slots, but it still does not work. Is this a driver problem. Are there any other drivers I might try? I am using the generic drivers that xp installed.
Does anyone have a suggestion on an inexpensive card that will work in xp. I want to hook up a digital camcorder.
