I am trying to use a program but Windows Firewall is blocking it. I have already turned firewall protection off but it appears to be still on. How can I delete the Windows Firewall program?
(I'm running MW.XP)
Thanks for any help.

If you've turned the Firewall off, then it isn't the firewall that's stopping the program from running correctly. Do you have anti-virus software that may have in-built firewall protection?

Yes I have anti-virus protection, but I deleted it thinking that it was the problem also. Still doesn't work.
Any other ideas?

I don't believe it's possible to "delete" the Windows XP firewall but you should be able to disable it:

Also, what's the name of the program that you're trying to use and what sort of error message do you recieve when you try to use it?

It's working now. I did a search for FIREWALL and deleted all files.
