Firewall system performance

Got a funny question:

If i enable the function on a gui client of "Resolve address" does that have any performance implications on the firewall server, firewall is on a NT4 Server PII 500 256 Meg ram, 200 users, and the gui client is a win2k workstation PIII 800 384 meg ram..

The server by the way is a dual CPU server, but is only running on 1 cpu, how do i go about enabling the other CPU..
