Right..............I have ICS working now I need a firewall for an ISDN connection.

I want to get a hardware firewall cos I think Norton or Zone alarm will conflict with my Sophos.

Any recommendations on a basic, reasonably cheap firewall to protect 25 users?

Any ideas would be appreciated. I've had a look further down but not sure if they are suitable for us.

Regards

If statefull inspetion is ok look at SonicWall.
They are great StateFull inspection firewalls and come at a good price.
Most of our SonicWall's are TZ/TZX for home officeses and Pro 200/300/330 for officeses.
At the officeses we also use an application level firewall but they cost a lot more (and Nokia makes the best of that kind of FireWalls)

NBG800 I mentioned and (I think) the sonicwall as well, both work on ethernet and assume the conversion from IDSN (or DSL or Cable or t1 etc.) to ethernet has already been done. I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

We had the a similar problem. But I found a security company who gave us a pretty cool/slick solution for a firewall. It was about $300 for the hardware + the installation etc. but I was amazed on this thing worked. They custom designed the firewall to for our needs and therefore it was super easy. The company is called eEye Networks ( As I said for the price we paid I am pretty happy with the result.
