Hi

If we have a SQL server in a DMZ and I need to import a file from our internal network using DTS. Is there a particular firewall port that I need to open? is it the same as file browsing if thats what I'm asking the DTS to do?

Thanks

PS - I can appreciate this may not be the best way from a security PoV but I'm just exploring options.

DTS doesn't use any special ports. If you are accessing a file on the file system you'll need to open the SMB ports.
