Alright, I know I'm a trader but I still need some help.
How am I a trader? I'm a Unix junky... But VC++ is indeed mostly compatable with GCC,G++,G77,EGCS and CC compilers (the ones I have.) I am currently planning to make a c++ firewall but I don't quite understand how to go about doing that. I am new to sockets programming and haven't gotten far. My plan is as follows. On first run it scans all the ports and logs the open ones. Then it watches those ports. When activity is detected it logs it and closes the target port (excluding FTP,TELNET, and other needed services). How do I go about doing this? Any help apprecciated.
