I am running a typical home XP ICS networking two PCs. Firewall 4.02.6 is installed on the gateway machine connecting via local area connection NIC to cable modem and connecting to client PC via local area connection 2. All works well except when Firewall is filtering, IE in client is blocked from internet access...change Firewall to allow all and client IE has full access. I understand this is a standard feature of Firewall (thanks a lot), but is there not a way to keep Firewall filtering and be able to access internet from client? The firewall is pretty useless if I have to turn it off...

Thanks in advance for any hints on how to overcome this feature.

Use a proxy server, Wingate perhaps? Or use the built-in proxy of XP.
