I will be installing a new Cisco 1760 router for our network very soon and it will have a DMZ port. I have a Web Server and 2 FTP servers that I would like to connect to the DMZ, however I want to make the FTP servers as secure as possible. I have a 3Com Office Connect Firewall DMZ, and I am considering hooking this up to the Cisco DMZ port. From there the Web Server would be connected to the 3Com DMZ, then the FTP Servers would be on the LAN port of the 3Com. I will then allow only FTP traffic to the FTP Servers.

Is this a good idea? If so how would I configure the DMZ on the Cisco and the 3Com to support the small network on the DMZ?
