Two problems in one question.
The pc crashed and presumably some setting file is corrupted.
1) The Firefox window always opens the same size. I can't persuade it to open full screen (not maximised) or half screen or anything. Close it and it reopens the size it was last time it opened.
2) The drop down list of search engines has disappeared. Just an edit box with an arrow that offers to add a search engine. Adding an engine doesn't work.
I can't find where these values are stored. Can anyone help?
