Firefox port config

Hi,

I changed the port 80 on my Apache webserver to 8080 and can now access

http://localhost:8080/

no problem. Is there a way to configure firefox so I don't have to type in :8080 all the time?

Not that I am aware of, you have to do the same in IE. Create a shortcut perhaps?


Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

Tools -> Options -> General tab.
Click the Connections Settings button.
You should be able to play around with those values to get what you want.
