FireFox - menu flashing, ok in I.E. 1

Hello.

I've validated my CSS and my XHTML, all seems ok, however in FireFox, when you hover over a menu item the first menu seems to flash the content of the menu you hover over.

any ideas why this is happening in FF and how I can fix it?

All looks fine for me in Fx 1.5.0.4 - no flashing at all. What version are you using?

here is the info on my FF

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7

Is it bug with the version of FF i've got rather than my code.

Wow - is this the first time i've actually got 100% valid and compatible code (ok not symantic, we all know that's beyond me!)

But not a bit of cargo-cult programming in sight - woohoo!

I would say it is the code -- I am seeing a bit of flashing, but nothing too drastic. Don't have time to do a thorough debug now though.

this is very confusing, I've validated everything, Dan says it looks fine, i'm getting flashing, your getting flashing, and it all looks fantastic and works great in I.E.

what on earth is causing this?

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the problem?

If I roll over the tabbed menu items (Companym, Guestbook, Music, etc), the sub-menus appear OK. Rolling over any of those sub-menu items highlights them with no problems.

Or... perhaps it's an Fx 1.0.7 glitch that was resolved?

thanks dan, I just upgreaded my FireFox and everyhting is working fine - must have been in bug in the older version of FF.
