I clicked the update button in my FF browser to update FF. A later version of FF started downloading.

Now, ONE WEEK later FF is STILL downloading!

I have tried to stop the download, but to no avail. There is no cancel button of any type that will stop the download. Closing the download window only closes the window, but the download keeps on downloading.

I have tried rebooting, and that has not worked either.

Anyone know how I can cancel the download?

Poor people do not hire employees. If you soak the rich, who are you going to work for?

"We've found by experience that people who are careless and sloppy writers are usually also careless and sloppy at thinking and coding. Answering questions for careless and sloppy thinkers is not rewarding." - Eric Raymond

Open the downloads library window (Tools -> Downloads) the 'Cancel' button is on that.
