Please can anyone figure out why this is displaying strangely in Firefox.. I can't for the life of me figure out why its happening...

Because you are using the deprecated and absolutely not needed [tt]align="left"[/tt] on your table. That align is basically equal to css' float: left; thus meaning your table was floated and did not contribute to the height of the parent container. Remove the align and everything falls into place.
