Hey Folks,

Recently, within the last couple of months, I've been unable to access any NS700/1000's remotely or locally using Firefox or Chrome. This happens on my work PC, my work laptop, and my personal phone.

The error I get is, in Firefox:

Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP

I've googled solutions for this, which suggest changing TLS and SSL settings(In Firefox) but that hasn't helped since the settings were already the recommended.

Has anyone else had this recently?

Try to change the setting below

security.tls.version.enable-deprecated change to true

Thank you very, very much my friend. It's the little things in life, like having 5 sites open and being able to label your tabs so you know which system you're actually working on, that make life easier lol.

Cheers!

Please Mr. Tele-tech if this work - (as mr obtsystems say) - tell us what you change specificaly and in what browser, to improve our experience to this kind of problem..

This was done in Firefox, by typing about:config in the search bar, and typing tls into the search bar that comes up on the page. And changing said setting to true, as described by obtsystems.

Oh my god!!!
This was giving me such an issue.
Thank you for this resolution.
Is it the same in Chrome too?
Regards
Mark

I'll answer in this thread, but there is a similar solution for Chrome but I can't remember it off the top of my head. I don't use Chrome, so it wasn't something I investigated further. There is a similar setting though.

Hi there,
Don't worry about CHrome.
You've heloped enough, I now have access which is the important thing.
Regards
Mark
