Firefox browser doesn't load

Hi,
After upgrading firefox at prompt, the browser failed to load. I uninstalled firefox, and reinstalled it, still not working.
It's all blank except the browser border, and error message reads: can't not find this site...
Thanks for any suggestion.

Start firefox in safe mode and remove all the extensions. Then uninsall and re-install firefox. After it comes up you can reinstall the extensions. That should take care of it.

I assume you are referring to Tools - Extensions, There's no extensions to remove, it's disabled - not compatible with Firefox 1.0.3

Have occasionally had this problem with the firefox process not stopping. Try looking at teh active processes and kill the firefox process
