Hello,

I'm still using Firefox 3.6 and so far haven't had ay problems. I was wondering since they are now at FF9 if my version is considered unsafe. Any thoughts ? thanks

Hi,

They're still releasing security updates, so IMHO you should be OK.

I agree with RichLee, I have one laptop that still has 3.something on it and I've had no more security problems than those with FF 8.0 of FF 10.0.

One thing about version upgrade is the fact that some Add-Ons and Extensions may not function because their creators have yet to make necessary upgrades to them.

So monitor your FF Upgrade and watch for warnings that list addons / extensions that will not work with the new version of FF (you are given a chance to abort FF upgrade and wait for the addons to be updated)hopefully soon.

I don't know what Firefox developers are thinking with this rapid fire release-o-rama. It's just somehow annoying from a psychological point of view. Stick to point upgrades.

I agree goombawaho I hope Firefox developers are listening!
