I have a firebox 700, I am located on a subnet behind this firebox. I am having trouble using a sonicwall VPN client from behind the FB. From the traffic monitor, packets go out OK, but get slammed coming back in.
I have setup test services/rules allowing full comms from my local IP to Sonicwall gateway and vica versa.
Can this be done??????

Which version of the firmware are you using? In v5.0 you can create a 1-to-1 NAT solution giving the VPN client behind the firewall a public IP. This will solve your problem. NAT is most likely the culprit of your problem right now. The 1-to-1 NAT should remedy that.
