Firebox 1000 Download Speeds

Hi,

I work at a school and we run a firebox 1000. For whatever, reason the internet has begun to slow recently. I used an online download speed test and found that behind the firewall our download speed was under 3000kbps and if I plug directly into the Comcast Business Class cable modem it is over 21000 kpbs. Does anyone have any idea what might cause such a drastic drop. Any info would be greatly appreciated by me and the kids that are crying about how slow their facebook loads.

The test I used was

and I used the Chicago server.

Hi,

Just to be sure I would try another speed testing website, try

http://www.speedtest.net

and see if you get similar results first.

If you do I would recommend simply trying another firewall (I'm hoping you have a spare of some kind) and again see if the test results are the same or not?
