finished backup jobs get put on hold?

i ran a quick test back up job
when it was done
In activity monitor
I see that the job is put on "hold (failed)"
why doesbackup exec put my finished jobs on hold like that?

Have a look at the job log for the error. Double click on the last failed job, select log. What is the error message?
