finding upgrade software/ is there even a path?

I'm trying to upgrade a legacy system from v4.0 to v5.5. I'm having a devil of a time finding the software anywhere. Any suggestions?

Is there an upgrade path for this?

Can I just go to Exchange 2000 without going to the win2000 server?

I'm locked into NT for now, we have software that isn't compatible with server 2000, I don't think it will be for a while.

Any help will be appreciated

You can buy a copy of 2000 and install 5.5 I believe which gets you around the legality issue.

Getting hold of a copy of 5.5 shouldn't be that difficult then once you have a licence to use it. Just speak to your opposite number somewhere to source it.
