Finding the last command run 2

Hi,

Where are the commands history stored?

When i press the up arrow i get things like
ls -al
i press it again i get
mkdir newfolder
i press it again i get
ls -al

Where can i get a file of the last so many commands?

if you are using the bash shell then type history.

Usually command history is stored it [tt]~/.<program>_history[/tt]. //Daniel
