Finding the difference between 2 dates

Hello,

I need to find the difference between the Invoice Date and the Due Date as a numeric data type. However these two fields in ACCPAC are string data type. HOW and WHAT do I need to do????

Dear HyperHeidi,

Convert the string to a date field. If it is a format Crystal recognizes it will do it.

Date({Table.MyStringDate})

If that doesn't work, please post an example of what your datefield looks like.

As Ro described, and then use the datediff function if you need a granularity other than days, if it's just days, use:

Date({Table.MyStringDate1})-Date({Table.MyStringDate2})
