Finding SMTP User name and password

Hi,

We are trying to set up Catapult to run on a server, and would like to send emails out via our Domino server. It is asking us for our SMTP user name and password. Anybody know where in Domino Admin I would have to go to find this out?

Hi

Note listens for SMTP all the time and does not require authentication, you can try this by telneting to port 25 and you should get a response. If you are sending mail outside of the Domino Domain, then you will have to allow it to relay from the source IP address, but otherwise you can send internal mail without a problem. We setup distribution groups on our Notes box and point out NetIQ and HP Openview Servers at it for email notifications etc.
