Hi!
Just recently, my HD SMART tool reported one "pending_sector", i.e. a bad sector that can't be read. Before I do anything with it I need to know which file this sector belongs to. I know that in linux there is debugfs for ext partitions, but my system is Windows 2000, the partition the bad sector is on is NTFS.
My question: Is there a tool with which I can find out for NTFS volumes what file a HD sector belongs to?
Thanks in advance.
Nick
