Hi,

Does anyone know any good software utilities that run in windows to tell me what memory a particualar system is using. I need to access the system remotly and want to purchase additional memory for the system but am not sure which one I need to buy.

thanks

If the PC is a pre-built unit ie: Dell, HP etc then you could use crucials online ordering service which gaurantee's compatibility.
Otherwise:
I would never purchase ram on the strength of a software tool (because they are not always 100% accurate)so would advise removing the side and looking at the ram and the motherboard make/model.
