I have a customer that has 7000+ contacts in his outlook. These have ben compiled over many many years. We want to clean out the contact list and find of if there are numbers that are no longer valid. Is there a database or service that we can dump some of the contact info such as telephone number and name to do a comparison and weed out names that no longer fit the number? Or is the a system I can dump the telephone numbers in and have the system automatically dial to see if it gets an answer and confirm the contacts name and number?

P.S. - Numbers are Worldwide.

I fell a major manual process is going to be the best options but wanted to throw this out there....

Thanks,

Joe

Not sure where you are based, but if you were to use an auto dialler for this purpose in the UK it would be illegal, unless there was an agent on the other end to handle the calls.

We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true.

Thanks for the tip. Based in the US and I would assume there are similar laws here.
