I'm using IIS4 on one box, and SQL7 on another. TO get the asp page to read from the SQL box I need to allow anonomous access. I want to control the security from within the asp page, but this means I need to collect the NT user name. I have ticked the challenge/response option in IIS properties as well ,but seem to pick up nothing when I request the server variable of LOGON_USER I just get a blank.

Anyone got any ideas?? I do need the two servers to be seperate, or else I think it'd work, but any help would be fab.

Thanks!

Fi.
