Finding Domain on a Solaris box

Hi,
Real Newbie question, but Im installing an appa on a solaris box and its asking fro the Domain of the box? How do I find this on Solaris?

Hi John. Your /etc/hosts might show it. Alternatively, look in /etc/resolv.conf. Hope this helps - post back if not.


I want to be good, is that not enough?
 
The command /bin/domainname show it as well as the contents of /etc/defaultdomain. This is used by NIS to bind to a domain.
