I took over a job as the network administrator for a small company. The previous admin didn't leave a lot of documentation. He left a lot of messes to clean up, too.

We have several access points here. I can't find one. It is definitely working. I don't know where it is. Is there a way to find it?

I use a WiFi detector made by Smart-ID but they don't seem to list it on their website anymore. Not sure where you're located, but here in the UK this looks a similar product:-

This one looks quite sophisticated:-

Network Stumbler is free software that will assist you in locating the access point by signal strength. You won't pinpoint them but it will put you close.
