Finding a DN or DN Range to choose from for Hunt Groups

I cant seem to find a proper written explanation or procedure.
You look at Hunt Groups and the DNs are blank so you must assign one.

Where do you get your DN range from to choose one?.

My method is to look for your highest digital or analog DN and your lowest IP DN, choose any one in the middle.

But what is the proper method?
I cant find it in the books.

There was an issue with older BEM where you would not be able to program hunt group DN's.
I thought it was your case.Probably read your question too quick...
