In Excel this is easy but MS project has me stumped.
I want to find the last row of data in the name column and select the next blank cell in the name column.
I then want to paste data from that point forward.

How do i find the next blank cell using VBA ?

Appreciate some guidance with this

Thanks

You've lost me. Are you trying to copy Project data or paste data into Project? If you are attempting to paste data, I'd personally just append the data. Let us know more about what you are trying to do and we'll try to be more helpful.

Hi and thanks for helping
Sometimes I may have 1200 tasks, other times I may only have 300. Because the amount changes I need to find a way to get the first blank cell in the name column active so I can programatically paste additional data in.
If I have 1200 tasks I need to select 1201 or 300 I need to select 301
Im not importing data so appending wont work.
Im just trying to find out how to activate (select) the blank cell at the end of the current list using VBA

Hope that makes sense.
thanks

If you're using VBA...

You can DISCOVER lots of good stuff, like does the Tasks collection have a Count property. Of course VBA HELP has that too.
