Is there any way to do it without Samba,or with ?

Have you considered using cifs_fs instead of samba? You'll need AIX 5.2

You could install swat if you haven't already and view the shares through a web frontend, also available is webmin.

but smbclient -L should show all shares on a server.

HI,

I have to run my Perl script on hundreds of standard 5.2 systems,no extras.

"smbclient -L" failes in an Active Directory environment ...
I need other line mode options.
Thanks
