Find Transport Request 1

If you know the name of the program or transaction, how can you find the transport request?

Most of our consultants, put the program names in the transport request. However, from time to time I need to look for a transport for a specific program or transaction where that is not the case. I've looked around and don't see how to do this.

Have a look at table E071:

trkorr: transport request
object = PROG or REPS for programs, TRAN for transactions, ...
obj_name: program name or transaction or ...

Thanks for the great information.

As it turns out, the consultant thought it would only be used in DEV, so he created it in the package $tmp. Once I put it in our development package, I was able to assign a transport request. Once we had a transport request, I could then get the basis guy to transport it to QA.
