I have a report with a subreport. Everytime I refresh the report I am getting a parameter prompt. I just hit enter and the report works fine. Even if I enter data into the parameter it doesn't do anything and the report works fine.

There is no parameter prompt when I run the report or the subreport by itself. It is only when I put the 2 together there is a problem.

I have made dozens of form/subform and report/subreports in the past. For some reason this report/subreport combination will not link correctly via the wizard. It either returns all subreport records for each report record (Link Child and Link Master are null) or no subreport records for every report record (Both Link Child and Link Master are 'EC Number'). So what I did was link the subreport to the report so all subreport records show for each report record. Then I changed the Link Master Field on the Data tab of the Subform/Subreport property. The Link Master Field is 'Concept Data.EC Number' and the Link Child Field is 'EC Number'.

Concept Data is the Parameter Prompt I am getting. Does anyone know a way I can get rid of this prompt???

Thanks for you help!

hillary,
Try looking at the properties section of each form and report. Look in the "order by" line. If there is an entry there delete it. That should get rid of the parameter box. Otherwise I have no Idea unless the underlying query has "exp:xxxx" in the design grid.
