Hi,

Can anyone advise me in how I can go about writing a program which can tell the difference between an executable and a folder/document.

Example;

I have a folder called Notepad, and within this folder are my text documents. This folder is open and sitting in the Taskbar. I then run notepad.exe, which then too sits in the Taskbar.

What I want to know is how to tell the difference between the exe and folder/document.

Is there a quick way of finding this out ?

Thanks,
Al.
