find special characters

hi all:
I am new to the forum. I am also glad to join it.
how can I find special characters ->µ,°in fm files.
Much help appreciated.

Welcome to FrameMaker! Once you get used to it, you'll find it has some great search and replace features! All you'll need to do to search for those characters is copy and paste them into the Find box in the Find/Change dialog. Make sure the Find box is set to "text:"
