I'm not a vba coder, just a frustrated word 2k user. I can't seem to use the Find/Replace feature to locate text with specific paragraph formatting. Specifically I need to locate text based on its indent.

I check the paragraph for its indent using the Format | Paragraph command and apply the same indent in the Find dialog box (using the Format | Paragraph command in the dialog box). However, when I do the search, word returns a "search not found" message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have several hundred documents that require substantial changes based on paragraph formatting. My plan was to build a macro to automate the process. Unfortunately, that is not possible until I resolve this dilemma.

Thanks,
AJ
