Hello,

I want to use the Find Record command on my form to, well, find a record. But using this means that when the Find dialogue box comes up, the user to untick the Search Only Current Field box and change the Match from Whole Field to Any Part of Field. Is there any way to have Any Part of Field and the Search Only Current Field box to be unticked as default? I did think about using a query, but I need to search more than one field.

Thanks.

Here is an example of the of the Method

FindRecord Method Example

The following example finds the first occurrence in the records of the name Smith in the current field. It doesn't find occurrences of smith or Smithson.

DoCmd.FindRecord "Smith",, True,, True

See the Documentation on the FindRecord Method.
It includes arguments that determine finding a string in the current field, or not using the current field.
