For an Oracle application database trigger I want to find out under what responsibility a user changing a row in a database is currently logged in. The idea is that for example only a user logged in as 'superuser' can change something. We have a 'last updated by' field but that is the user, not his responsibility.
Thank for your help.

Hi

In the view sys.dba_users there is a "profile" column which might give you what you want.

Have a look at sys.dba_users, sys.dba_roles, sys.dba_role_privs, sys.dba_profiles, sys.dba_sys_privs and sys.dba_tab_privs
