Hi, I'm writing a small C++ MFC app that is gonna be used to generate reports. I'd like to be able to find out if my MySQL DSN connection is already set up on the computer running my app...

Is there a way to do this programmatically ?

Thanks

Simon

Yes - I've got the VB code to do this. I found it on Tek-Tips in the Visual Basic Forum.

It is a programming question rather than a Cr question, so ask it in one of the other forums.

If you are using the RDC (which you should be..if not, you should seriously look into it), you can use the TestConnectivity method of the DatabaseTable object.
