find on DRS 6000

Hi, longshot, but does anyone know whether the -mtime option to find on an old ICL DRS 6000 system (ICL unix 4.2.7.4.4, sparc) works? It seems that at least the -mtime -1 command brings back all files, ignoring the -1 entirely. According to the man page it should work, but is anyone aware of a bug? As I say, a very long shot, but you never know!!!
