Hello, how can i find with i.e. mminfo, which incremental backups have no full backups.
This happens when the incr. backups are on an another tape than the full ones and we change the mode of the tape with the full backup to recyclable manually.
The tape will be overwritten and the incremental backups on the other tape still remain recoverable, but they should be recyc too.

You had the solution:
If you change the full backup to recycle manually, you have to change the incr. backup witch depends on these full backups. Networker will not do this automatically.

speculos:
Thanks, but what i need is a script or an automatic task that finds the saveset id' s of these incr. backups and change the status from recov to recyc.

I do not see any way how to do this. NW does not have a
field in the media index that explains dependencies of a
save set. The only way to find that is by the save time (or
cloneid). Just look at the chronological occurence and find
out where a full is missing.

May i also suggest that you should always delete a full
backup cycle (all backups between 2 fulls).
