I am a new user of Crystal 8.5. I need to conditionally add a new page after the group 1 footer if I am in a group >1.

This would be accomplished with the DrillDownGroupLevel in version 9 or greater.

I have 3 group level: Business Unit, Product Group, and Product Name. All are string fields.

Is there a way to accomplish this with arrays?

Thanks.....

Seems like you could goto the section expert, select the group footer 1, click on the formula button to the right of the "New Page After".

Assuming that "Business Unit, Product Group, and Product Name" are just 3 values, then the formula could be as simple as:

If {field_grp} <> "Business Unit" then yes else no
//assumes Business Unit == 1

If those were in fact groups, as in group 2 and 3 with their own footers and such, then this logic goes into their footer's "New page after" formula. Not sure I have enough info to make a guess at the contents if that is the case...
