Hello all,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me with the following problem. I need to archive some files and directories with a date range between 1/1/98 & 12/31/00. When I use the windows find file and enter the date range it works okay, but I'm not sure of the procedure to get a hard copy. I tried using the DOS dir command using the OD switch but it gives me the complete listing of the entire folder not the date range that I'm looking for. If anyone can help me with this I'd be gratefull.

Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean.

In Windoze 'Find', after finding all folders/files in your date range, you could highlight the top file/folder, scroll to the bottom one, while holding 'Shift' - right click the bottom one. Now with all highlighted, while right-clicking, (not left) drag and drop to the archive's dest folder, release right-click and choose copy.

What I failed to mention WheeDoggy, is that after I find the files and folders with a certain date range is that I would like to print a hard copy from either dos or windows. sorry for not being more specific with my first post.
